When my daughter was a little girl she was a huge fan of Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter', who sadly passed several years ago.
I took some artistic liberty with this cartoon and showed her wrestling a crocodile...like her hero used to do.

All these graduation announcement illustrations have been great and tell a great story of your daughter growing up. Really like them all. I'm sure your daughter loves all of these takes on her.
Quick question are all these done digitally or do you ink a lot of your illustrations by hand then color them digitally. Always love to hear illustrators process.

Hey, thanks, first, for checking in on this blog and your kind words. Second, to answer your question...these illustrations for my daughter were all off the cuff, no roughs, and inked directly on paper, scanned and colored in Photoshop. I'm about as basic a guy as you can get :-) You take care.
