It's tough being a MOM.

It's no secret that it's tough being a Mom. But some of the physical issues that go along with being a Mom are hard to hide...and therefore, not so secret.

Creating purely for the fun of it!

I love those nights when I can just sit at the drawing table in our master bedroom, my wife sleeping a few feet away, and I can just DRAW (example above from this past Friday night). No deadline, no topic, no editor, no art director...just a plain piece of white paper and my imagination. Doesn't get old at any age :-)

This spot illustration of a persian kitty reminds me of my father, who passed 19 years ago. My dad ruled the roost and was quite proud of his family, home and yard. He would often, jokingly, put hands on hips, thrust chest out and resound with, "AHHHH,...IT'S GOOD TO BE KING!" True dat, dad :-)

Cartoon about canine communication creates itself.

Created this sketch during a break today...with nothing clearly in mind, other than just drawing dogs sniffing the same ground. Made it up on the fly and when done, it hit me that this was about communication....using the nose/scent to communicate. When it was time to shut the sketchbook and get back to work, the 'You've Got Mail' phrase hit me...but the 'You've Got Smell' made perfect 'scents' :-)
