Really miss hanging with my CARTOONIST friends!

The fraternity of cartoonists is a very close one. Many of those I consider my dearest friends are fellow cartoonists. I admire and respect the talent of each of these folks more than they could know.  And I don't think I've ever hung with a GROUP of folks whose company I have enjoyed so much! __Sadly, I haven't had the opportunity to hang with these guys & gals for some time, which makes me miss them all the more...but I do so look forward to that next 'get together' and sharing more LAUGHS and good times!!! __You guys are the best!!!

I love creating ENVELOPE ARTWORK!

During the 28 years I've been freelancing, one of my favorite things has always been adding a cartoon doodle/sketch to the envelopes of my client correspondence. I do it with the hopes it will be enjoyed by the receipent and bring them a smile. __I'm always tickled on the occasion I visit a client's office and find they've cut out the cartoons and have them on their office walls! An example of these envelope cartoons is attached. I did this one for pet expert, Arden Moore, who lives in California and is known to take her pets surfing :-)

Married...and keeping that love alive!

It's amazing that after being married for many years, we can see each other at...not our best...and, yet, we can KEEP THAT LOVE ALIVE! Ruff! Rowrrr!

A toast to this upcoming 4th of July!

Modern Day Horror!

In the old days, when I was a kid (can't believe I just wrote that...ugh) you could see what scared you right in front of your own eyes. But nowadays what so often scares us is online and unknown. Hate to say I miss that about the old days (can't believe I said that again...ugh), but I do.

Monday mornings are like a long line at the litter box.

Monday mornings can be rough...especially depending where you are in line to use the litter box. That's a metaphor........for something :-)
