April showers mean...

Ahhh, it's Spring and April showers have arrived! It's yet to be seen if these April showers mean May flowers. So far they mean pets are getting soaking wet...and returning indoors with two different reactions.

Shark A or Shark B

I was playing with this Shark image last night and originally thought I'd do flat colors and be done with it...but when I finished the first version I just couldn't leave it alone, and went back and added the simpliest of highlight shading...which you see in the second version.___My problem is I'd actually like to keep going back and working it more and more...but that gets to the point of being counter-productive...and costly :-)

Creating an image just for the fun of it is the best...but can also be for the...weirdest.

As is evidenced by tonight's freestyle freeflowing creation. Seriously, don't ask me...I just start doodling and it creates itself. Much like...Frankenstein :-)

Washing Basset Hound Ears

I adore my ol' basset hound, Blaze...but it's no secret ol' bassets can produce a pretty potent musky odor. So the occasional bath is essential. But it's also no secret that Blaze does not like getting her long, droopy ears wet. If she could just take them off when bathing life would be so much nicer for her :-)
